We prove new results regarding the existence of positive solutions for a nonlinear periodic boundary value problem related to the Liebau phenomenon. As a consequence we obtain new sufficient conditions for the existence of a pump in a simple model. Our methodology relies on the use of classical fixed point index. Precursor solubility is a crucial factor in industrial applications, dominating the outcome of reactions and purification steps. The outcome and success of thermodynamic modelling of this industrially important property with equations of states, such as Perturbed-Chain Statistical Associating Fluid Theory (PC-SAFT), vastly depends on the quality of the pure-component parameters. The pure-component parameters for low-volatile compounds such as ionic liquids (ILs) have been commonly estimated using mixture properties, e. g. the osmotic pressure of aqueous solutions. This leads to parameters that depend on the solvent, and transferability to other mixtures often causes poor modeling results. Mixture-independent experimental properties would be a more suitable basis for the parameter estimation offering a way to universal parameter sets. Model parameters for ILs are available in the literature [10.1016/j.fluid.2012.05.029], but they were estimated using pure-IL density data. The present work focuses on a step towards a more universal estimation strategy that includes new experimental vapor-pressure data of the pure IL. ILs exhibit an almost negligible vapor pressure in magnitude of usually 10−5 Pa even at elevated temperatures. In this work, such vapor-pressure data of a series of 1-ethyl-3-methyl-imidazolium-based [C2mim]-ILs with various IL-anions (e. g. tetrafluoroborate [BF4]−, hexafluorophosphate [PF6]−, bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide [NTf2]−) were experimentally determined and subsequently used for PC-SAFT parameter estimation. The so-determined parameters were used to predict experimental molecular precursor solubility in ILs and infinitely diluted activity coefficients of various solvents in ILs. The parameters were further compared to modeling results using classical parametrization methods (use of liquid-density data only for the molecular PC-SAFT and the ion-based electrolyte PC-SAFT). As a result, the modeled precursor solubilities using the new approach are much more precise than using the classical parametrization methods, and required binary parameters were found to be much smaller (if needed). In sum, including the pure-component vapor-pressure data of ILs opens the door towards parameter estimation that is not biased by mixture data. This procedure might be suitable also for polymers and for all kind of ionic species but needs extension to ion-specific parametrization in the long term. 相似文献

A simple and low cost method for extraction and preconcentration of Arsenazo-III (ARS-III) and Magdala Red (MR) was developed by an efficient cloud point extraction (CPE) method using mixed micelles of Triton X–114 (TX–114) and cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB). Various parameters, such as pH/concentration of H2SO4, surfactant concentrations (TX-114 and CTAB), equilibrium temperature and time have been studied to maximise efficiency. Thermodynamic quantities like change in Gibbs free energy (ΔG0), change in enthalpy (ΔH0) and change in entropy (ΔS0) were calculated. The results show that the CPE of ARS-III and MR dye is feasible, spontaneous, and endothermic in the temperature range of (50–80) °C indicating good recoveries for the developed method. The effect of temperature, surfactant concentration and dye concentration on various thermodynamic quantities was investigated and it was found that ΔG0 values increased with temperature but decreased with surfactant and dye concentration. ΔH0 and ΔS0 values increased as surfactant concentration increased and decreased as dye concentration decreased. The recoveries were found to be the range from 90.02 – 101.03 % for ARS-III and 86.07–99.46 % for MR dyes which proves that the method is highly efficient. 相似文献

We report a dynamic polymerization system based on the reversible nucleophilic Michael polyaddition of activated alkynes and dithiols. Four poly(dithioacetal)s(P1-P4) were prepared via the base-catalyzed thiol-yne "click" polyaddition of two dithiols(1,4-butanedithiol(4 S) and 1,5-pentanedithiol(5 S)) and two alkynones(3-butyn-2-one(Y1) and 1-phenyl-2-propyn-1-one(Y2)) at high concentrations. We systematically investigated the base-catalyzed polymerization of 4 S and Y1(for polymer P1) under different conditions, and found that this polymerization was a highly concentration-dependent dynamic system: polymer P1 was formed at high concentration, while seven-membered dithioacetal, 1-(1,3-dithiepan-2-yl) propan-2-one(C1), was obtained at low concentration. The polymerization of 4 S and Y2(for polymer P4)displayed similar polymerization behavior, generating 2-(1,3-dithiepan-2-yl)-1-phenylethanone(C4) at low concentration. On the contrary,polymer P2(from Y1 and 5 S) was exclusively obtained with no formation of eight-membered dithioacetal. The polymerizations of Y1 with 1,2-ethanedithiol(2 S) and 1,3-dimercaptopropane(3 S) only afforded corresponding five-and six-membered dithioacetals, 1-(1,3-dithiolan-2-yl)propan-2-one(C2) and 1-(1,3-dithian-2-yl) propan-2-one(C3). This dynamic behavior of P1 and P4 was attributed to the concentrationdependent retro-Michael addition reaction between a thiol and a β-sulfido-α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compound catalyzed by bases.Furthermore, polymers P1 and P4 could be depolymerized into C1 and C4 in yields of 58% and 95%, respectively. The ring-opening polymerization of C1 at high concentration could successfully regenerate polymer P1. Thus, a new type of closed-loop recyclable poly(dithioacetal)s was developed. 相似文献

If a K3 surface admits an automorphism with a Siegel disk, then its Picard number is an even integer between 0 and 18. Conversely, using the method of hypergeometric groups, we are able to construct K3 surface automorphisms with Siegel disks that realize all possible Picard numbers. We determine the proton affinity (PA) and gas-phase basicity (GB) of amino acid α-alanine at a chemically accurate level by performing explicitly-correlated CCSD(T)-F12b/aug-cc-pVDZ geometry optimizations and normal mode vibrational frequency calculations as well as CCSD(T)-F12b/aug-cc-pVTZ energy computations at the possible neutral and protonated geometries. Temperature effects at 298.15 K considering translational, rotational, and vibrational enthalpy and entropy corrections are obtained via standard statistical mechanics utilizing the molecular geometries and the harmonic vibrational energy levels. Both the amino nitrogen (N) and the carbonyl oxygen (O) atoms are proven to be potential protonation sites and a systematic conformational search reveals 3 N- and 9 O-protonated conformers in the 0.00–7.88 and 25.43–30.43 kcal/mol energy ranges at 0 K, respectively. The final computed PA and GB values at (0)298.15 K in case of N-protonation are (214.47)216.80 and 207.07 kcal/mol, respectively, whereas the corresponding values for O-protonation are (189.04)190.63 and 182.31 kcal/mol. The results of the benchmark high-level coupled-cluster computations are utilized to assess the accuracy of several lower-level cost-effective methods such as MP2 and density functional theory with various functionals (SOGGA11-X, M06-2X, PBE0, B3LYP, M06, TPSS). 相似文献

沸点(BP)是有机分子液体的基本物理化学量, 也是化学工业生产中的重要参数. 有机分子的沸点由分子结构决定, 呈现复杂的结构-沸点关系, 函数法(Function Method)、基团贡献法(Group Contribution Method)等传统方法无法应对复杂多样有机分子结构的预测, 应用范围狭窄, 预测精度低. 本研究中, 我们利用基于人工神经网络(ANN)和支持向量机(SVM)的多组件学习器实现有机分子沸点的精准预测. 我们构建了基于可解释性描述符的ANN、基于相关性描述符的ANN及基于复合分子指纹的SVM三个异质模型, 并通过包含4550个各种类别的有机分子沸点的数据集进行训练得到了三个异质性学习器, 最后集成三个学习器对有机分子沸点进行预测. 相比于传统方法和此前的定量结构性质关系(QSPR)模型, 多组件模型结合了三种模型的优点, 展现出很好的预测精度和泛化能力以及低的过拟合, 实现了对多种类型有机分子的沸点的有效预测. 相似文献

As attractive alternatives to a set of three Euler angles, the rotation of a rigidly deforming body is often represented using four or more parameters. The accompanying parameter constraints introduce generalized constraint forces in the equations of motion which can often negate the benefits of a particular parameterization. In this paper, we discuss situations where the parameter constraints are not imposed. Thus, although the body no longer deforms rigidly, it does deform homogeneously. This allows the theory of a Cosserat point (or, equivalently, the theory of a pseudo-rigid body) to be used to establish equations governing its motion. Earlier work on this topic by O’Reilly and Varadi considered the four Euler parameters and the single Euler parameter constraint. Here, we consider Poincaré's six parameter representation of a rotation tensor, and, complementing earlier work, discuss numerical implementation and representative simulations. One of the contributions of this paper is the development of a viscoelastic Cosserat point, whose equations of motion are free from parameter constraints and singularities, that can be used to approximate the motion of a rigid body. 相似文献
